Well it was time to do it right for Tech. The switch used to work and now does not so an almost complete re-wire was required. The cables are now a coherent system. #2 awg welding cable connects alternator and front battery post to battery side of switch. #2 awg connect to frame and body on both ends for the ground. While I was there I placed the 2 fuel pump wires and positive cables in split sleeves for extra protection where it was needed. I think weight was a wash as I cut out as much as I put in. |
